We had some sort of roadtrip to my friend summer cottage last weekend. It was raining like hell every now and then but otherwise it was very relaxing weekend. T/A got couple of hundreds miles in the meter and no issues except one broken passenger side mirror and minor downforce attachments to the road surface with the outcome of screaming sound when the exhaust headpipes were scratching the road. Seems that I still need to work with the clearance between the pipes and ground… on the other hand this will be fixed when the original TA block is replacing the 360 CID crate motor and the original exhaust manifolds and pipes are put in.

Here are few pictures from the roadtrip… Notice that I put some effort to find the correct outfit for this trip!

New Tires!

Today new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires was mounted… thanks goes to the PH-Rengas! Front size is 235/60R15 and rear 275/60R15. Now there is enough clearance between the exhaust pipes and ground. Previously I had the 245/50R15 and 265/50R15 tires and the Challenger was driving too low in my opinion and I could hear the exhaust pipes scratching to the road every now and then. I think now the stance is also better with these 60 profile tires.

Restored Rim Blow in R/T

I gave my restored Rim Blow to my cousin and to my old R/T. I have to say that the "office" of the R/T is now much more better looking than with the standard steering wheel!
